Dr. Gerry Hudgins, Chair of the EE department, and Cheryl Wemhoff, Graduate Student Coordinator at the EE department, are announcing the award winners at the 2012 IEEE banquette at the Wilderness Ridge Lodge in Lincoln, NE on April 13th 2012.
Congratulations to Philipp Kühne and Stefan Schöche for being selected winners of the 2012 EE graduate poster competition, held during the UNL Graduate Research Fair. Stefan got the 2nd place for his poster "Spectroscopic Ellipsometry and optical Hall-Effect study of free-charge carriers in InN:Mg - Indications for successful p-type doping" and Philipp received an honorable mention for his poster "The optical Hall effect".
