Mainly he worked on the optical investigation on spatial pressure formation in piezoelectric ink-jet printheads with
laser Doppler vibrometry. Different electrical waveforms for piezoelectric wall movement and their effect on acoustic
wave generation and cancellation have been examined and a new waveform was developed which allows to increase the print
frequency by theoretically 50 %.
