We are seeking a PhD student with possible starting date in Fall semester 2007 (August).

Interested candidates are encouraged to send us their cv and references. The scientific scope of this PhD course is settled within the areas of Complex Medium preparation and analysis. We anticipate optical and electrical investigations of novel nanostructured materials by field-dependent Generalized ellipsometry, scattering, and electrical transport techniques.

As well, of particular interest could be comparative Optical and Electrical Hall effect measurements on piezoelectric semiconductor materials and heterostructures.
